The Data Entry modul provides the operator interface to enter measured reel properties into the system. All data entries are checked against the related target values. Target limits are related either to a specific paper grade or to a particular process location.

The modul Color Measurement provides the interface to connect and operate color measurement equipment from Minolta and Datacolor. The measured spectral density data is converted into color values for various color spaces. Measurements will be stored in the corresponding (reel) record of the data base.

The Thickness Profiler module serves the visualization of cross machine thickness profiles. Data acquisition of thickness profiles can be either achived on-line by a profile scanner or in a lab environment by a thickness gauge with paper feeder.

The Coating Module manages all variable definitions and the handling of quality data related to the coating process.
