The module Competitive Comparison provides an interface to investigate quality properties of competetive products. All methods provided by PMS can be appplied to compare grades from external production against own brands.

The Color Value Graphic visualizes the trend of the color values from the raw paper up to the finished reel. Graphic display can be selected to use either the xy- or the L*a*b color space. 

The SPC Control Chart, also known as the Shewhart chart, is a tool used to determine whether a manufacturing process is in a state of statistical control or not. If the chart indicates that the process is currently under control then it can be used with confidence to predict the future performance. If the chart indicates that the process being monitored is not in control, the pattern it reveals can help determine the source of variation to be eliminated to bring the process back into control.

The modul Reclamation processes customer feedbacks related to product quality and product failures. Each complaint is categorized and assoiated to production grade and production run. On demand a report can be generated to detect clustering of defects.

The modul Control Plan provides all functions to verify that a product or a product class is manufactured according to the assured quaility properties. This includes control plan definition, data aquisition as well as verification of assured quality.
