The module Quality Reasoning analyzes automatically the quality properties of each finished paper reel. This decision process (reel on spec or not) follows the same rules as a quality manager would handle the task. All steps of the decision-making process are recorded and can be logically tracked.

When the system detects a quality violation a process is invoked either to rework, to suspend or to block the reel from further processing. The processing stage and the related workflow in progress for the faulty reels is listed.

Easy-to-use navigation

In the navigation tree on the left-hand side the most important parameter show up. ID's are listed and, on automatic process generation, the relevant variables with limit violations are presented.

The Quality Reasoning registers all reels and the belonging child reels.

In the detailed view the following functions can be selected:

• Print label
• Send mail
• Change status
• Regroup
• Edit process

Process protocol

The protocol lists all changes and reworks applied to the processed reels and displays them chronologically.
