The module Hole Statistics is one of our two modules for location- and time-based acquisition and analysis of error recording (the other module is Sheet Break Statistics). The catalogue of hole types is location-dependent and therefore very flexible (it is possible to have completely different catalogues for each production location). The recording of the events includes reel ID, cause, location, date and position.

Record new holes

All data required is reel ID, hole type, location of origin and the hole's position (cross and longitudinal).

Given the speed of the machine, this module automatically calculates the proper origin time. Below the data table a diagram will display all longitudinal positions of the holes in respect of the length of the complete reel.

Configuration of the catalogues

You have two catalogues to configure, but their handling is identical. The hole catalogue defines the different kinds of holes that can appear whereas the origin catalogue determines the respective locations of origins for holes. Each location has its own catalogues. To ease the configuration effort you can transfer the hole catalogue from other locations. This allows a create-once-use-anywhere configuration. Finally, you can assign symbols for holes and origins to get a better overview.

Various statistics

Pie charts depict the aggregated values of all causes or origins for the selected location. By changing the boxes values below the diagram, you can easily adjust the displayed periods to your needs. That enables e.g. comparative statistics for different months or days.

Flow display

The flow display shows the quantity of all holes (including their kind and their origin) for the selected period Optional,  the complete trend of events or trends of single causes and/or origins are available and customizable.
